I just love a summer newborn session, friends! This morning is especially fun to share, as it’s 100% PROOF that you truly don’t need to have a formal, put-together nursery space to be able to capture all those sweet newborn memories. <3

Kaleigh and her family were in the middle of selling their home, so they didn’t have a nursery set up yet. However, as soon as she showed me the windows in their sitting room, I knew we would have zero worries! :) I love what we were able to capture with all the gorgeous light in the space of 10 feet — and will forever refer to this session as an example of working with what you DO have vs. worrying about what you don’t. At the end of the day, all we need is you + the people you love, and some light. What a gift!!
