Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Engagement | Kit & Chris
So, I am lightyears behind on blogging and have SO much to share with you all…but I couldn’t NOT start with Kit and Chris’s engagement session!!
When we were chatting back and forth about what they hoped for with these photos, it all came back to a feeling: images that felt light and easy; natural and relaxed. Drawn to joy-filled candids, we decided to simply meet at their Meridian-Kessler neighborhood home bright and early one weekday morning and set out to find great light and sweet spots along the way!
I loved this session. Getting to chat with fellow morning people as Kit and Chris shared some adventures and life stories so far…chasing gorgeous glowy sunrise light…finding their favorite spots and corners to grab a few meaningful photos…it just was a dream.
Irony of all ironies: the one location I actually pre-planned ended up being CLOSED…so we walked across the street to a local restaurant that most definitely wasn’t open at 7am on a Friday morning and took advantage of their gorgeous architecture & ivy…ah. It was just the best! So thankful for all the life moments when Plan B ends up being way better than Plan A ever could be!
Kit and Chris are so fun together. Cultured, accomplished, and detail-orientated, they’re simultaneously relaxed, easy-going, and filled with so much joy for LIFE. I loved getting to know them and can’t wait to celebrate the start of their marriage in a few short months!! If you know me, you know how much I strive to find beauty and joy in the everyday…so I hope you enjoy these everyday images of Kit and Chris!
