It may have poured rain for 90% of the day, but the steady downfall let up just in time to celebrate Abby and Jarrod’s engagement on Saturday evening! You see, June 27, 2020 was supposed to be the date they shared their vows in front of all their friends and family. However, like many couples this year, the coronavirus precautions meant postponing their wedding day until a later date.
I love that Abby and Jarrod didn’t let the changes and uncertainty steal their joy though! They still wanted to celebrate their original day with a day of intentional planning and prayer for their future together. And of course, by dressing up and getting engagement photos done, too! :)
I am so happy for these two and loved getting to spend the evening with them exploring Holcomb Gardens. The rain made for some of the deepest greens I’ve ever seen, and I love the nature-y vibe to all of their images! I can’t wait to celebrate the start of their marriage alongside all of their friends and family later this summer. Until then, enjoy a peek into our time together!
Congratulations, you two!!!!
