When Katharine reached out for Viv’s newborn photos, she specifically said she didn’t want to do them during the normal newborn timeline — but closer to the 3-4 month mark, and with a documentary / everyday approach.

Doing the things they love, in the space they love, with the people they love.

So, I showed up on a Friday morning with my camera in hand and fell into the easy + slow stride of a morning at home with no plans but to be.

These sessions at home? They’re like a time capsule in the very best way: so that, in the future, when schedules and seasons look totally different, you have the chance to take a peek back into the past and spend a morning the way you used to all the time. <3
