Kelsey and Zane were married this past weekend in a beautiful celebration of life and family and love. Their Ritz Charles wedding day was relaxed and joy-filled, and I loved every minute of it! Not only were we gifted with AMAZING weather for the month of October, but the overall atmosphere of the day was filled with love.
After all, that’s what we were all there for: to celebrate Kelsey and Zane and the gift their love is to all those around them! They are an amazing couple with incredibly kind and generous hearts who have weathered it all in the last year, after Kelsey’s father unexpectedly passed away. However, I know he was with them all evening, celebrating and cheering them on. From the heart-shaped cut out of her dad’s tie sewn into her dress to the memories shared during four of the most amazing toasts, his impact and legacy of love, strength, endurance, and JOY for life was recognized!
A few things I’ll never forget when I think about these two and their wedding day:
Enjoy a peek into Kelsey and Zane’s wedding story, friends! And congratulations again, you two. You’re finally and officially husband and wife!!!
This newly renovated outdoor space at the Ritz Charles was so perfect for their first look! Always my favorite moment of the whole day!! :)
And then it was time for the ceremony to begin! The Ritz Charles chapel is such a light and airy space, and it was the perfect setting for Kelsey and Zane to share their vows. Kelsey’s brother Matt walked her down the aisle after her sweet little niece stole the show as flower girl!
Whenever my couples opt for a first look & all their portraits before the ceremony, I always love to take 5-10 minutes during cocktail hour to grab some “Just Married” portraits, too! We hopped right over to the side of the chapel to capture this set of images — I couldn’t be more in love!!
And then it was time for the reception to begin! The Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion was S T U N N I N G, and I couldn’t have been more obsessed with the soft blues & greens that decorated the whole space! There were so many small details — from the monogrammed match books, to the gold dinner bells, gorgeous menu signage, and portraits of Kelsey’s father, too.
Zane’s father and grandfather gave the welcome and blessing before dinner, and I loved the words they shared about the importance of this day and the commitment Kelsey and Zane made!
