Hello hello and Happy Monday!!!!

Today’s post is a quick one, because this Monday finds me waking up in my favorite place in the world with my favorite hubs in the world — Seaside, Florida!!!

Chris & I are on our first solo-vacay EVER, and if Day One is any sign of the rest of the week…it’s going to be a BLAST!! For those of you who are wondering how an almost-married-two-years couple has never been on a vacation by themselves, here’s the gist: We got married during Chris’s year-long intensive program at the Cleveland Clinic, and they were only given 2 days off the ENTIRE year!!! Luckily, Chris was able to put those towards the Friday before our wedding and the Monday after, but obviously that didn’t leave us time to go on the typical honeymoon vacay post-wedding. Last summer we were able to go on vacation with Chris’s family, which was SO great, but we knew we wanted to go somewhere this year just the two of us, and it’s been fantastic! Last night we took a blanket out to the beach under the stars, and just talked about life & how thankful we are for everything God has blessed us with…and it’s things like that that just make me love this time with my guy!

So, there’s that :) This Monday, I am loving time away with my best friend, I am loving the beach, I am loving all the cute shops and fun beachy fashion, I am loving yummy drinks & seafood galore, I am loving salty skin & crazy beach hair, and mainly I am just loving VACATION and REST!

This is the last time you’ll see me on this blog real-time for the week, but no worries — I have pre-blogged a BEAUTY coming your way on Wednesday :)You’ve probably noticed a few shots from this amazing session featured throughout my website already because I just couldn’t help myself (I mean, it’s not my fault her color scheme / design pretty much matched EXACTLY what I was going for with my site! Haha!), but the WHOLE SESSION will be here to oogle over on Wednesday — so make sure to check back :) I also sort of went sneak-peek crazy  with this one (because again, I just couldn’t help myself)…so here’s what ya’ll have seen so far:
