Newborn sessions at home are just my most favorite thing.

I love how every single one is *so* different — and yet so similar, too. The pauses for nursing, the big siblings playing with toys and showing me rooms, the tiptoe peek into the crib, the slow sway and soft calming pats, the softness and sweetness and joy existing right alongside the fragility and exhaustion and blur.

Newborn life is just such a unique season, and I love getting to capture it again and again.

It’s especially special when I get to come back and spend a morning with a family I’ve worked with in the past! I first met Heather and Brandon for Rae’s newborn session a few years back — and now sweet Zoe is here!!! Hooray!
