As you most likely already know, this is my first year as a wedding and lifestyle photographer located in Indianapolis. I started this business in Cleveland two and a half years ago, but relocated back home to Indy this past summer! It’s been such a joy making a community here, and I am slowly but surely rebuilding my business as the months go by. It’s definitely tough moving a business solely based mostly on word-of-mouth referrals, but thanks to awesome clients and intentional social media and SEO strategies, it hasn’t been impossible!

Because of this, I am so excited to be part of the “Best of 2016” contest this year put on by Indy A-List, a collection of businesses in the greater Indianapolis area that span all different categories, from restaurants to pet daycares to yoga studios and more! Once a year, businesses “compete” for votes to receive recognition and positive reviews. And while I don’t really love contests for competition’s sake, it is such an honor to be nominated for both wedding and portrait photography! After all, from a practical standpoint, it’s a great way to increase my reach with local brides, seniors, and families! If you are a past client of mine or just enjoy following along with my work, I would greatly appreciate your vote!

1) The most obvious way would be by using THIS LINK to vote! Make sure you select both wedding and portrait categories if you’re up for it, as I am in the running for both :) You can only choose one photographer per category, and the contest will only let you vote once.

2) You also have the option to leave a “add a tip” when you submit your vote, which is basically just a spot to leave a brief review of why you think I’m worth winning. Even if you haven’t been a client of mine yet, I’d so appreciate a kind word or two in regards to my work!

3) And finally, you can share, share, share!!!! There are some amazing photographers to choose from, and I am so excited to be a part of the fun, but I know voting will continue to pick up speed as the deadline approaches.
