Wow! I cannot even begin to put words on how incredibly grateful I feel looking back on the eleven weddings we had the joy of being a part of this year. What an honor it was to work with each one of these amazing couples. My brides and grooms are seriously the best people in the world: kind, caring, goooorgeous, thoughtful, respectful, loving, and SO MUCH FUN, too! Their families welcome us with open arms every weekend as if we are part of the family, too…and I still just can’t get over all the amazing moments we were able to capture this past year!
And don’t even get me started with the amazing vendor teams each Saturday brought together, too! I loved working with so many talented men and women all year long! We were able to shoot at so many fantastic venues, from the Central Library and Indianapolis ArtsGarden in downtown Indy to the Barn at Bay Horse Inn and the Woodstock Country Club and more! I’ll try to give shout outs to other amazing vendors throughout this post, too!
In the meantime, grab something yummy to sip on or a snack because this post is LONG! :) Enjoy a round-up of some of my favorite images from the year, friends! What a wonderful year to be a wedding photographer in 2017!!!
Christina & Scott’s Central Library wedding in downtown Indianapolis will always be close to my heart — it was the first wedding I shot with Baby #2 along for the ride, too! :) We found out I was pregnant only a few days before, and I was just so, so happy and thankful to spend a Saturday capturing one of the best days in life a person can have!
Brandi’s bracelet inscribed with her dad’s handwriting…still gives me goosebumps! What a beautiful way to honor him and make him such a strong part of the day!
Allison and Brandon’s downtown affair at the Indianapolis ArtsGarden was absolutely STUNNING — and, it fell on one of the longest days of the year, which meant the sun was still going strong until after 9pm! SO cool for an all-window venue!! As always, the staff at The Conrad Indianapolis were so great to work with, and I can’t not mention Violets are Blue and Vibrant Video Production, too!
Lauren and Kraig’s Barn at Bay Horse Inn wedding had the most ideal fall weather!!! BrookeBlue Design did such an amazing job with every detail of their day, and One of a Kind Events and Kate Shaw…ahh such an amazing vendor team!
I’ll never forget Jenna and Jeremy’s first look outside the Rose Well House before their Indiana University wedding…so much JOY! He seriously was blown away by his bride!! And when they chose to read personal vows to each other right after…such an amazing moment to witness.
And Brandi & Adam!! I loved getting to know these two more of the last year — their Mill Top wedding in Noblesville, IN was full of the best friends and family a couple could ask for, and you’ll see several from their day throughout this post!
Brittney and Ben’s wedding at the Hawthorn Country Club in Fishers, IN!! We had such a gorgeous glow for their “Just Married” portraits! Loved working with Something Blue Stylists and George Thomas Florist on this one!
Matt and Molly’s Woodstock Country Club celebration was absolutely incredible! Not only did we have such a FUN day, but working with Jessica Dum Wedding Coordination, too? The best!
Bri and Aric’s Indiana University wedding at Alumni Hall was one for the books, too! I’ll never forget their first look…or the way Aric looked at his bride as she walked down the aisle!! Loved working with Blush & Blossom Events on this one!
And Drew and Mike’s Cantigny Park + Naperville Settlement wedding….oh, I will never forget this day! This was our only destination wedding of the year, and it was the perfect way to cap off an amazing wedding season!
Sneaking onto a golf course for these “Just Married” sunset shots was 100% worth it — love these two so much!!
Allison & Mike’s Beck Chapel ceremony in the heart of Indiana University’s campus was so, so perfect! I loved that they chose to have immediate family only for their ceremony, and then they travelled back to Greenwood to celebrate with ALL their friends and family!
I’ll never forget this moment with Brittney’s dad…their first look, when he shared that he would be able to walk her down the aisle AND dance their Father/Daughter dance after all!
The very first wedding of the year was Bekah and Brad’s windy wedding day at the Barn at Zyntango Farm! I loved shooting at this venue so much — it was the perfect spot for Bekah and Brad to say “I do”! And again…that GLOW! Ahh!
This photo was right after Allison and Brandon’s first look on top of the Conrad — I just loved their Indianapolis ArtsGarden wedding so, so much!!
One of my favorite bridal party shots EVER!! The bouquet!!!!
And oh my goodness…this was the YEAR of adorable ring bearers!!! :) Aric & Brianne’s nephew was just the sweetest!
And Adam & Brandi’s ring bearer was just such a heart breaker!!! Ahhh! Those curls!
I love this shot Maggie was able to grab from the balcony through the trees while I was shooting from the side — these two images are only seconds apart!
What an amazing year it has been! 2018, I can’t wait to see what you have in store!
