Happy Thursday, friends! I am so happy to share Katharine and Jacob’s Holliday Park engagement session with you this morning. I’ve known Katharine’s family for a few years now — her brother and my brother are best friends, and we all love her family so much! However, I had never spent time with just Katharine until recently. She left for college right around when Chris and I moved back to Indianapolis, so, while I’d always heard great stories about her and this guy she was seeing, I never really knew them personally.

Needless to say, I am SO glad I do now! She and Jacob reached out to me about wedding photography a few months ago, and I was so excited for the chance to work with them. They are both finishing up their final year at Ball State, which reminds me so much of my engagement story with Chris, too. Katharine and Jacob made waking up early for a freezing cold session at the park an absolute blast — they have the best smiles, and I love the way they kept each other laughing the whole morning. Between that golden sunrise light and their warmth and joy together, it couldn’t have been more perfect!

I am so excited to celebrate the start of their marriage next June and can’t wait to get these two in front of my camera again. Enjoy some of my favorites, friends!
