Well, friends. I’m ignoring all the rules and sharing *way* too many images in this post because I just honestly truly can’t help myself.

It was such a treat to spend the morning with Caroline, Clay, and Arthur this past week. There’s something about photographing brand new parents that takes me right back to those days, myself. And yes, I remember all the surprises and second guessing and NEWNESS of it all….but more importantly, I remember the complete and total AWE of finding myself so incredibly in love with this new little human I’d just met. Nothing could have prepared me for the love that came with parenthood…and getting to photograph that experience again and again for so many incredible families is probably my favorite thing in the world. :)

…of course, it doesn’t hurt that Caroline and Clay have a truly dreamy home — and Arthur’s nursery is just perfection, too! And I love that we snuck in photos in Clay’s workshop at the end of our time together. Photographing new families in their own home is the heartbeat of my business, and I love just how *them* this entire session is.
