Today’s newborn session is giving me allll the feels! Getting to capture Baby Dale’s lifestyle newborn session last week was such a joy and honor; I am so thankful Kellie and Ryan invited me into their home to document a sweet morning with their son. As an Indianapolis lifestyle newborn photographer, I get to capture a lot of sweet families. However, this one was extra special.

You see, Dale had quite a wild entry into this world, spending a week in the NICU after breathing in meconium during his birth. Kellie said it best when she shared the news online, so I thought I’d copy her words here:

“But we serve a mighty God and our family and friends prayed mighty prayers and our son made a speedy recovery with significant progress each and every day – even impressing his team of doctors and nurses! We are finally home after 7 days and 6 long nights in the NICU. We will be forever grateful for the St Vincent NICU team and the wonderful care he received all week. All praise be to our King, awesome Father and wonderful Creator for this precious gift and healing of our child. Continued prayers of health are welcome. Now welcome home DaleMac – let the good times roll!”

Mr. Dale, you are already such an answer to prayers. May you always know how loved you are and how purposeful your life is!
