After spending the past few months in their new home in New Orleans, an outdoor Indianapolis engagement session in November wasn’t *quite* exactly what Hannah and Ethen had in mind. Haha! They were home for the Thanksgiving holiday, so we knew we had to make the best of the chilly day.
Luckily enough, we were able to spend the majority of our time in the GORGEOUS Alexander Hotel downtown. I love this hotel for so many reasons: the staff is friendly, the natural light flows freely, and the architecture and galleries are simply stunning! They were even decorating for Christmas while we were there, which made the atmosphere especially cozy and warm. It was just the best!
However, the laughter and joy Hannah and Ethen brought was what really made the session great. These two seriously have the BEST time together! We joked about pre-session nerves (and hilarious posing advice a-la Ethen) and chatted about their transition down south, and by the end of the session, I felt like we had known each other for much longer than a few emails back & forth and an hour of time. I always say engagement sessions are my favorite, but this one? It was simply a blast!!!
I am so excited for Hannah and Ethen’s (much warmer) outdoor ceremony at 1899 next September and can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of their marriage!
For now…here is a peek into our time together! Congratulations, you two!
Then we braved the wind and headed up to the top of the parking garage next door! I’m SO glad Hannah and Ethen were up for a quick jot outside….these images are some of my favorite!! So fun!!
