It’s a beautiful afternoon to share the newest Sami Renee family: Anna, Evan, and sweet Adeline (plus her big puppy brother, of course!)!!

I just adore this session. A lot of times, I’ll photograph several different areas in a home, but there’s something especially nostalgic for me about just staying in one small space. It challenges me to capture the connection as opposed to the location, and I have to think outside of the box to create plenty of variety in their gallery, too!

These three (or should I say four!) made my job so incredibly easy. Lots of snuggling, swaying, rocking, and shooshing…my favorites!

I also can’t get over Adeline’s nursery, too! We have the same simple Ikea crib — I recommend it to everyone I know and can’t say enough good things about! But the DRESSER. Evan and Anna fancied that guy up like crazy! It’s the simple wooden Ikea dresser…that they sanded and stained and added texture and LIFE to, and I couldn’t stop staring at it! Such a perfect backdrop to all the love.
