Happy Friday, my friends, and an even happier New Year!!

Today is a busy busy day full of grading, lesson planning, packing & cleaning followed by a *hopefully* quick trip to the car shop for some new tires & an oil change because this chica is leaving for Creative At Heart tomorrow!!!! I am so excited to meet some AMAZING ladies & hear their stories — it’s going to be a weekend to remember :)

As I enter 2015, I’ve done a lot of thinking about the past year. 2014 saw a lot of change for me, and I’m sure this year will be no different! I keep coming back to the same two questions as I reflect:

What worked? What didn’t?

In both my business & personal life, these two questions have been at the back of mind all week. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten too much time to sit down & process these yet, but I am looking forward to next Saturday when I will get the chance to! It is so important to reflect, and oh-too-easy to forget to do so in the hustle & bustle of a day. I don’t want to just float on through life, I want to LIVE — and that requires some serious intention! For now, I’m looking forward to approaching this weekend with an open heart as I remember this quote from #SheReadsTruth:

“May we use the coming days as an opportunity not to merely make lists and clean out closets, but to reorient our hearts and our gaze to the One in whom our only hope rests, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
