Ooooh my goodness, people. Look at those TOES!!! :) :) I am so excited to share the very first TWIN lifestyle newborn session on the blog today — Arlo and Silas are absolute rockstars!! I mean, one newborn baby is amazing enough…but the awe and beauty and adorable-ness of TWO newborn babies…it is just the best!

However, even as amazing as it was to photograph the cutest twins ever (!!!!), this session was special to me for an entirely different reason. You see, Matt and Michelle were one of my very first wedding couples! Through a crazy turn of events, I ended up filling in for their original photographer last minute. While some couples may have been terrified at the sudden change, Matt and Michelle immediately welcomed me like family, and it was such a fun day!

As I’ve gotten to know them more throughout the years, I’ve come to realize their reaction shouldn’t have been a surprise at all. Easy-going, joyful, and welcoming, Matt and Michelle are two of the kindest people I know. These characteristics have only blossomed in their role as parents! I just know Arlo and Silas are going to big things — mostly because I already see the way their big sister Adeline is carrying on her parents’ love, too.

Seriously, people. As soon as I walked in the door, Addie ran up to me, gave me a big hug, and then immediately grabbed my hand to show me “her babies”. She is so proud of her little brothers and couldn’t be a better helper to her mom and dad!

I’ll also never forget the way she *always* made sure to kiss both of her brothers — never just one! It was the CUTEST! I am so thankful to know the Pleasants and couldn’t be more thrilled to share a peak into our morning together with you today!

Welcome to the world, sweet boys; may you always know just how loved you both are! (Arlo on the left; Silas on the right!)

The boys fell into the best snooze near the end of our time together, and we were able to grab the sweetest images of them in Michelle’s old crib! Her neighbor “Grandpa Ed” handmade this cradle when she was born!
