So maybe I’m the only one out there, but for the longest time I couldn’t figure out how other photographers were able to share their Instagram accounts directly with their Facebook business page! Seriously, I was baffled!!!! No matter what I tried, mine always went straight to my personal page.

For a while, I settled for manually sharing from my personal page to my business, but after weeks of annoyance (and because, let’s admit it, that extra step was a little too much for this time-managing chica), I finally decided to tackle my conundrum once and for all — even if it meant breakin’ some sweat, crying a few tears, or missing out on a night of chick flicks!

Lucky for me (and for my nightly chick flick routine), it turned out to be quite easy. Four simple steps, and my problem was solved! In case anyone else out there is in the same boat, I thought I’d share my knowledge with you today :) I know it’s not that big of a deal…but little tips and changes are what make the world go ’round, my friend!

Four Easy Steps to Controlling Linked Accounts with Instagram 

Step 1: From your feed, tap on the settings “wheel” in the top right corner of your screen next to your Instagram name. 

Step 2: Scroll down until you see “Settings” and select “Linked Accounts”.

Step 3: Select “Facebook” (or whatever social media platform you want to adjust!).

Step 4: Press “Share To” and then choose your preferred destination on the following page. You can keep it on “Timeline” to have your instas share to your personal page, or select from any of your pages on the “Choose Your Page” option below! 

Ta-da!! You are officially linked! :)

Again, I know this is not necessarily rocket science — but sometimes it’s nice to share a little tip or two :) This feature is especially handy for those of you with multiple pages (for example, if you own both a photography business AND a separate blog), as you can hand choose the shared destination on multiple platforms. It’s genius!
