Hey hey hey, and Happy Wednesday!!! I am so excited to share another snapshot into the lives of my favorite seniors out there — I have a blast getting to know these gals (and gents!) and love getting to share their fun with you!
Putting together tonight’s post could not have come at a better time for me; I am excited to introduce you to Bethany! You may remember her from her senior session with her two brothers this past fall — it’s not every day I get to photograph triplets AND a ballet session all in one! Beth and I had so much fun adventuring around the Cleveland Metroparks for photo locations, and I loved getting to know her as more than just my coworker’s daughter! I am so excited to see where she ends up next year; wherever it may be, I know she will be doing big things & dancing away!
So, let’s get the basics :) Tell us your name, age, school, & mascot!
My name is Bethany Comienski and I am 18 years old. I currently attend Bay High School and out mascot is a rocket. This year we recently just started the astronaut as our new mascot.
If your friends could describe you in three words, what would they say??
My friends would describe me as fun, caring and loving.
What has been your FAVORITE part of high school??
My favorite part of high school has been a creative writing course I took my sophomore year of high school.
Tell us one random thing about you others might now know :)
One random thing that others might not know about me is that I am a triplet. Another thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love Krispy Kreme raspberry filled donuts. I also love chicken and pasta.

Outside of school, where could we most likely find you? What would you be doing?
Outside of school you would most likely find me at the dance studio. I would be rehearsing and taking dance classes. I take ballet, jazz, contemporary, Tap and Pointe.
Let’s talk graduation!! Where are you hoping to be after high school?
After high school I plan to attend college. I am still not positive about what college yet, but I”m pretty sure it’s between Grand Valley State University and Alma College.
Finish the phrase: Reach for the starts & always remember to never give up.
Any final advice for the Class of 2015?
My final advice for the Class of 2015 would be to take life day by day and not to worry about the future.
Love Beth’s easygoing nature — her final advice was just what I needed to hear today! It can be SO easy to get caught up in the worry of life: How will I pay that bill? Where will I be next year? How will we get through this trial? Will I be able to succeed?! What if something bad happens?!
But ya know what? Last time I checked, worrying has never made things better or added any time to the day!! Instead, the opposite occurs: when we spend our days obsessing over the future, it often paralyzes us, wastes the precious time we do have, and, even worse, it causes us to miss out on the beauty of today. So thanks for reminding us to take it day by day Beth! It means a lot :)
Now it’s your turn — what advice do you have for Bethany (or the rest of the Class of 2015)?! Comment below & let her know!!
Until then, stay warm, love well, and live in the moment :)
Love love love,
Sami
