Crosby’s lifestyle newborn session was full of family heirlooms and history. It’s one of the things I love about photographing growing families in their own home — I’m able to truly capture the every day. And for the Mastins, every day is focused around one thing: family.

It’s why they left their comfort zone in Holland, MI to move back home to the family farm, why they committed to attending the family church despite being a different denomination than they were “used to”, and why they chose to name their first son after a very important man in Maggie’s life: her late grandfather. Maggie and Jeff are committed to creating community within their family, and, as a result, the way they prioritize and live their lives is such a blessing to those around them.

It always is such an honor to be invited into my clients’ homes, and I am so thankful to share these rich moments with you today! And Baby Crosby, you are one fiercely loved little man. I can only imagine all the trouble you and your sisters are going to get into, and even so, I bet it will be nothing compared to all the beautiful things you will do in this life, too!
