Today’s post has me craving #allthesweetthings, so obviously I am munching on some off-brand Reese’s Puffs & dreaming of these pies!! Haha! I loved photographing some product shots for Pots and Pans, a new Indianapolis bakery and florist specializing in delicious pies and eye-catching succulent terrariums!

When Clarissa first contacted me about capturing her plants & pies, I was all on board. After all, working with new businesses is one of my favorite things! Outside of wedding cake, these were actually the first food shots I had ever done, but I approached them just as I would any other detail shot and had a blast doing so! We incorporated all kinds of layers and textures, from an old family recipe book to different ingredients and floral pieces, too!

We also took some lifestyle images as Clarissa made an apple pie! Isn’t this kitchen amazing? Clarissa’s parents own a cabin in the woods, and she knew it would be the perfect spot for our session!
