My family has worked with Sami for over 4 years now, ever since my first daughter’s newborn pictures. Sami is so bubbly and easy to talk to. Our sessions always fly by, in the midst of all the chaos that is family pictures with toddlers. She always manages to get the most amazing photos of our family just being us. Her lifestyle pictures are by far my favorite, and really capture the magic that life with littles can be.

Home Sessions are not just for newborns -- I LOVE capturing all ages in the comfort + ease of home! Lifestyle Family Sessions can take place in your home and backyard or in a local park/nature setting! Feel free to think outside of the box: whatever your family loves doing in this season, let's capture it!

my process
Everything you can expect, from booking to receiving your gallery!
Once we decide to work together, a $100 deposit will reserve your time and date. The remaining balance will be due the day before our session, and you can pay online, via Chase Quickpay, or by check or cash.
Lifestyle sessions can run anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the type of session and age and number of family members. I tend to work quicker when littles are involved, as their attention span is super short!
It's my hope that your session will be relaxed and laid-back -- I know littles can be so tough to wrangle, so leave the "say cheese!" at home and come ready to laugh and be with the ones you love! It may feel crazy at times, but I *promise* we are capturing gorgeous images you will cherish forever!
After our session, I will send you a few sneak peeks to tide you over until your full online gallery is ready in 2-3 weeks!

How would you describe your shooting style?
If you haven’t had the chance to yet, take a look through past family sessions on the blog! My style is very natural, light, and joyful -- and it’s important that that’s the style you’re looking for, too! I always make sure to get at least one typical "everyone look at the camera and say cheese!" photo, but most of our time will focus on play and interaction.
How many photos are included? Can I print them and share them online?
Within 2-3 weeks of your session, you will receive 50+ images via an online password-protected gallery that you can easily share with family and friends! From there, you can print the photos wherever you choose (although I am more than happy to recommend some places, too!).
What kind of sessions do you offer?
While I primarily shoot lifestyle newborn sessions in the Indianapolis area, I also love photographing families of all ages and greatly believe in celebrating your season - whatever that is! All sessions are approached with the same fun-loving style you're used to on the blog, and I am always up for new locations and ideas.
