Happy happy Monday!!!!

This Monday is extra special to me, and as a result, I have a little bit of a different post! Because two years ago today, I got to kiss this crazy awesome person in front of all of our best friends and become his WIFE!Yeah, that wind was pretty cray. But at least it had good timing? :)

People always say your wedding is “the best day of your life”, and in some ways, it is. Not only did I get to tie the knot with that sexy fellow above, but I also was able to spend the entire day with my best friends & closest family! There is something to be said about just CELEBRATING with the people who have helped shape and mold you into the person you are — whether it’s for a wedding or not! I remember just feeling so overwhelmed with LOVE, and not just because of the obvious fact that someone was promising to love me & choose me every day for the rest of his life! I remember just thinking about how amazing it was to be surrounded by all the people I love, all the people who have loved me, and the love of a God who never ever gives up; it’s a rare thing to have all of that in one place. It was a beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL day.

But it was exactly just that. A day. A freaking AWESOME day, but still just a day in the story of Chris & Sami. And it’s been all the days since — the adventurous days & the romantic days, the boring days & the oh-so-stressed days, the days full of laughter & the days where we just try to get to the next day — all of those days that have been the best. Because I get to live them all with this crazy-silly-awesome-brave-smart-kind-humble-amazing kid I love, and choose to love — and somehow he always loves & chooses to love me too! And that’s pretty great :)

To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite pictures from our wedding day! Jamie Sangar is so incredibly talented and captured the day perfectly. I tried to just share a few…but let’s be real, I never just share a few pictures. :)

I had a lot of fun crafting all of the details for our wedding — our ring box was one of my favorites & I still use it to hold jewelry on my dresser!

We were so so nervous that it was going to rain the whole day, but it ended up being absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

These heart garlands….oh those took forever. But they are still my absolute FAVORITE detail of the day :)

It was beautiful!!!!

My youngest brother was our ring-bearer, and I’m sort of obsessed with this shot of him. AMAZING!!

And these images of Chris while I was walking down the aisle…they just make my heart smile.





We literally tied a knot during our ceremony — the goal was to have a physical keepsake to display with our vows, but instead it’s still just sitting in a box with other wedding stuff….oops? I’m still glad we did this though (even though I’m pretty sure we tied the knot incorrectly…haha!!)

And then we were married!!! Wooooo hoo!!!!

In fact, I’m pretty sure we never stopped laughing the entire day!




























Once all of the festivities were done (including that super embarrassing above picture moment…), it was time for the par-tay to begin!!!

Happy Anniversary Chris— I love you so much, to the moon & back, forever & always, to infinity & beyond, and there & back again. Thank you for being YOU. You never fail to make me smile — like that time last week when you turned on The Treblemakers’ finale song via the Sonos App to announce your arrival home from work before you even walked in the door!!! Yes, it scared me, but yes, I also sort of loved it :)

Every single day I am so thankful for you and if I could put it into words, I would…but I really just can’t. Here’s to many more days, weeks, months, years, & decades with you — growing with you, learning with you, laughing with you, crying with you, dreaming with you, & smiling with you. I love you Chris!!!!
