I woke up this morning to pouring rain & thunder…so obviously I stayed tightly cuddled in bed & fell right back to sleep! Luckily, by the time I woke up for the second time, it was a beautiful sunshiney day — perfect for Day 1 of Matt & Allie’s adventures in Cleveland!! For those who don’t know…Matt and Allie are my two youngest siblings — 8 and 11 years old and full of laughter, fun, and SASS!!! My mom asked if Chris and I would hang out with them for the week and we were more than happy to get the time together :) So, because I get so little time with these two goobers, I am going to keep this post short!

One of my FAVORITE things about hanging out with my siblings is listening to all the funny things they say :) Matt and Allie are never lacking in the shock-value department, so, as a result, I get some really great quotes :P From the few short hours they’ve been here, I wanted to share three of my favorites:

Allie (at lunch with Dad yesterday): “So Sami, I’m working on a new book! It will be titled “How To Burn Your Nipple Off (And Other Short Stories)”. Basically it will just be a bunch of funny stories about our family…what do you think?!”

Matt (in the car): “Umm, Sami, did youuuu get me a birthday present this year?!”

(His birthday was last October)

Sami: “Matt, it’s time to get your PJs on!”

Allie: “Oh, he doesn’t wear PJs.”

Matt: “Don’t worry guys! I brought some bottoms — they are super cute!!!” *pulls out paw print flannel pj pants*

Haha! Hopefully those made you giggle a bit too :) We are off to the beach now to enjoy this beautiful day — but I want to leave you with some sneak peeks for this upcoming week on the blog!

First up will be my BEAUTIFUL cousin and her family — I am so glad I was able to take some pictures for them while I was up in Michigan this past weekend!

And we will end the week out with Ashley & Jerome’s sweet brunch wedding! “Getting Ready” photos are some of my favorites…love the excitement and anticipation for the day!! How sweet is this image of Ashley and her Mom?

And ya just can’t forget these SWEET cuffs Jerome rocked for his big day!
