So today’s Monday Love is coming a little later than usual…but, as the saying goes, better late than never, am I right?! :)

Today found me still fighting the cold/sinus bug I caught last week! I was so thankful to have this past weekend to rest, but still wasn’t quite able to shake it off.

(If you didn’t just start humming that. sick. beat. then you probably should be listening to #1989 a little more :) )

ANYWAY, as always, some things I’m loving & learning from the weekend:

Number 1 would have to be lasagna. And not just any lasagna…I’m talking husband-made lasagna full of deliciousness, veggies, & love :) Or maybe not so much love, but rather just a desire for an actual meal seeing as I was out-of-action between wedding shooting & being sick sick sick! Ha! Also, lasagna for breakfast is officially a thing. A good thing :)

I am also loving the #shereadstruth Hospitality devo series. This came at such a great time in my life — when I don’t quite have that “pinterest-ready” home or the best baking skills in the world. We don’t need to have a perfectly themed meal to reach out to others — we just need a story, and guess what — we all have one of those! So let’s start sharing :)

One of my favorite quotes from the 13 day study came from one girl’s response to 1 John 4:11-12. She shared that “people are never interruptions but divine appointments to show and express God’s love”. I mean, BAM. Such a tiny tiny sentence with such a powerful impact if applied to my perception of people throughout my day!

On a smaller note, I’m also loving Target’s Holiday Shop. It’s HERE, it’s beautiful, and I love it :)
