Hey there, Monday! It’s hard to believe this time next week we will be in one of my favorite months of the year: July! Ahh!

Some days it feels like the year is flying by, but if I’m being honest…June has been such an amazing-good-for-the-soul kind of month. Even though I have been crazy busy with this business, I feel like we’ve still been able to slow down and enjoy June, too. Ry and I have gotten into a great routine for our days, and we’ve gone on several fun adventures as a family of three (Cleveland, Cookouts, and Farmer’s Markets, to name a few!). Chris and I have loved seeing summer through Ryan’s eyes — every day he’s getting so much bigger, and we both feel so lucky to call him our son!

Anyway,I know it’s been a bit since I’ve shared the Monday love though, so I’ll get right to the point. ;) As (not-so) always, a list of things I’m loving and learning this Monday morning:

• Farmer’s Markets are one of the best things of summer! I’ve always loved the idea of them…but Chris & I have never been great at going. Enter: a 17 month old toddler who wakes up bright & early even on the weekend….and we’ve hit a different farmer’s market every weekend in June! Haha! I love walking around and seeing all the different vendors.
• Market favorites include: an amazing gallette via Pots & Pans, fresh sunflowers at the Broad Ripple market, and a walking waffle with allll the toppings (blackberry raw honey, berries galore, & whip, too!). We also give bonus points to the market for having live music and great seating, too!
• Also, Chris & I have officially decided that there is no better confirmation when purchasing a vehicle then unanimously deciding on a name for her while talking with the saleswoman! Haha! The car buying process is one of my least favorite things about #adulting, but luckily we were able to find an amazing new SUV without too much of a hassle. Bev the Chev is our new favorite gal, and we love her so much! (The remote start feature doesn’t hurt, either!)
• Oh, and summer jammies are officially my favorite thing in the entire world. Ry is currently rocking a submarine short & t-shirt set, and I’m just kind of obsessed. Babies should just always have to wear PJs, don’t ya think?? ;)
• Finally, a few of my summer reads so far: Ready Player One, The Women in the Castle, and Women of the Word. One part YA gamer lit, one part historical fiction, and one part biblical study…sounds just about right. Haha! I highly recommend all of them and have loved taking a few minutes to do some reading each day!

 

And that’s about it! I’m off to a Fresh 48 session bright & early this morning, so be on the lookout for a sneak peek or two. Otherwise, the blog should be a fun & full place these next few weeks with five sessions and two weddings on deck to be shared!
