Well, this week is already off to a ROARING start, isn’t it?! I normally pre-blog these Monday Love posts, but between spending way too much money at Costco, enjoying the beautiful weather, and editing sessions like a crazy woman, it just didn’t happen yesterday. So instead, I got to work a good hour earlier than usual to get stuff done and am now using my planning period to share the love instead :) Grace is a beautiful thing!

As always, here are some thoughts & love on this crazy Monday morning!!

• Florals & stripes. Seriously, I want these two patterns on EVERYTHING. I just picked up a sweet spring scarf  from Old Navy over the weekend, and obviously it was the first thing I chose to wear this morning :) They’re my favorite!
• It’s amazing what a little LIFE can do to brighten up your work area! A student clued me in on free succulents from the Horticulture classes on Friday, and I requested one right away; we’ve collectively named him Steve, and he is loving his new English 1 residence! On a side note, I now want all the succulents the world has to offer. I was way too excited when the little guy arrived, and my students officially think I’m the craziest person ever!
• I got to meet up with one of my favorite NE Ohio photographers last week for some chai, and I just want to say that I am so thankful for her!! Community seriously is greater than competition, and I love the time we have together! Our chats encouraged me to dive more into my editing techniques and really work continuing on creating consistency in that department…I am learning new things every day!
• Mother’s Day is coming up, and I’m putting a little something together to celebrate all of the awesome moms out there! Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter to catch it first as the offerings will be limited. I will announce it there this week and then share with the rest of the world 24 hours later!
