Happy MLKJ Day!

It was quite a relaxing weekend, which was AWESOME and very much needed after the first full week back to school! We cleaned & went to the grocery store, did lots of reading, and rented a new movie for our crazy Saturday night! Haha! As always, some things I’m loving from the past week:
1. The Elle & Company Menu Planner Printable — I’ve been a big fan of The Library for quite some time now, but I had never tried Lauren’s printable grocery list until this weekend! It has a space to plan out your meals for the week, and then list the items you need for each meal BY CATEGORY. No more circling the grocery store — everything is one place!! It. was. the. bomb. !!!

2. Orphan Train. Chris got me this book for Christmas, but I wasn’t able to read it until this past weekend! Historical Fiction is one of my favorite genres, and I loved seeing how the author weaved the lives of two similar people growing up in very different times together — it was absolutely beautiful & heartbreaking at the same time!! I highly recommend it, especially for those working with youth in the foster-care system.
3. We also rented “Boyhood” — a movie filmed with the same actors over a 12 year time period…it was AMAZING!!! Outside of the fact that the filming concept is awesome, I loved the plot! It was so simple and realistic, but I still found myself invested in the character’s lives. I loved it!!
Stay tuned for a new series starting this Wednesday — I’m so excited to give you some behind the scenes looks at my 2015 seniors!
Until then, have a very happy Monday!
Love love love,
Sami
