Haha! I am SO excited to start a new blog series today: The Friday Fluff! I’ve noticed that the blog received lots of love when I shared our fun Christmas photo of the #grahamdoodle (after all, he is pretty cute!) & after many pushes to feature him on the blog more from my girls at Creative last weekend, I thought no better time than now!
(Yes, I am aware he looks like a person here. He sorta always does. Oh, and that sweater lasted about a day FYI…but then we realized he eats everything and it was kind of expensive sooooo THANK YOU Pet People for having a great return policy :) )
For our first Friday Fluff, I thought it’d be fun to introduce the star of the show! However, I wasn’t quite sure how I wanted to do that. After all, G Money has a lot of pizzaz; he’s pretty neat! I didn’t want it to be just a boring ol’ “meet my dog” post…I really wanted to capture his personality & spunk! Buuuut I also didn’t want to go so far as to write it from his perspective & scare people away (although “The Art of Racing in the Rain” is pretty much my favorite book ever..) So, I came up with something a little different :)
Each Friday Fluff will feature little known facts about G as well as his escapades and adventures from the previous week in groups of threes. Since this is the first post, I though I would let you get to know some basics of our pup first :) So, without further a do…Graham’s Top Three!
Graham’s Top Three
Nicknames: G, Fluffer, & Frumpy G (Because some days, he’s just feelin’ kinda frumpy :P )
Chew Toys: Nyla Bone, Bull Horn, Elk Antler. G doesn’t mess around. :P
Things-He-Chews-On-Even-Though-They-Aren’t-Toys: Anything left on the counter including Trader Joe’s Chai Tea…, His cute whale leash that doesn’t exist anymore, & his bed. Sorry buddy, but it’s hard floors for sleepy time now! :P(The middle picture cracks me up because it TOTALLY captures his frumpy mood. Probably because he knew he wouldn’t be able to resist eating his whale leash much longer!)
Theme Songs: “Maybe They’re On To Us” by Needtobreathe, “The Dog Days Are Over”, by Florence & the Machine, and “Frumpy G”, a Christopher Orndorff Original ;)
But seriously. Listen to this Needtobreathe song & it’s basically like meeting Graham in person. TOTALLY captures his personality…and I definitely always hum it in my head whenever he gets really quiet & I know I’ll find him hiding in his spot under the coffee table where he loves to hide when he’s got a little somethin’ somethin’ in his mouth… :) #soooosneaky
:) And there you have it! Some of G’s top three things in his short 8 months of life :) Can’t wait to share more with you next week! If you want to see more of our little pup before then, make sure to check out the #grahamdoodle hashtag on Instagram :) Until then, stay WARM & love lots!
Love love love,
Sami

Aww what a little cutie! My dog also likes the Nyla bone! I will have to try the other ones on him!
Haha thanks Emily! They’re definitely the best :) I’d use Amazon though — way cheaper!
The G is too cute and Sami I love your creativity! Thanks for sharing!!
