(Sparkly Santa ornaments are kind of my thing. :) )
I am so thankful for the chance to celebrate with friends and family in the next week — 2016 has been one crazy beautiful year, and I still catch my breath thinking about what a privilege it is to lead the life I do. It may not be anything fancy, but like our Christmas card says: Simple moments bring great joy!
I don’t think it was an accident that the God of the whole universe chose to come to Earth through a helpless baby in a known-for-nothing town. There are so many things about the Christmas story that are incomprehensible, but that choice? It means something. It’s a daily reminder that the little things — those easy-to-forget moments and spaces and people and items — those are what life is all about. And I hope you are able to soak up all of the tiniest details of your life this holiday season!
I’ll be out of the office through January 2nd (minus two days in the middle of next week!) and trying to stay of social media as much as possible! See you next year, sweet friend!!
And, just for fun — here’s a peek into a morning with Ry! :) A few days ago we were munching on some Cheerio’s while breakfast was cooking, and I decided to snap some pictures! I love how much this dude loves food — just look at that concentration!
Doing a double glance to see if I’m watching while he decides to slip a few Os to Graham…“What, Mom??” :) Graham’s guilty face….Haha! So many breakfast emotions!
More food, lady!!! :) And a photo I caught the other day in bed…
Love my boys so much!
