It’s busy season, which means I’m catching up on work this Sunday evening since the boys are already in bed (#daylightsavingsprobs). However, I don’t even mind it because Sunday work nights mean I get to share Lauren and Brandon’s amazing Lockerbie Square engagement session with you a day early!!! Ahh!!!! :)

Some quick back story: I’ve known Lauren since our high school days at Lawrence North! We went to different colleges after graduation, so it was so good to catch up with her in person as one of the MOHs at Matt and Kate’s wedding last year! I heard a lot about Brandon that day (and met him for a quick photo during the reception, of course!!) and remember noticing just how happy they were together. :) So sweet!!!!

Needless to say, I was thrilled when they reached out to me to photograph their Central Library wedding next November and couldn’t wait for their fall engagement session last week! I absolutely LOVED working with these two and am so in love with the joy and LIFE that flows through their relationship! We had the best time walking around the Lockerbie Square area and even lucked out with semi-warm weather. Even better is the fact that this location has significant meaning to them: they recently moved just north of Lockerbie! How amazing is that?!

Lauren and Brandon made my job SO easy, guys — just wait until you scroll down for more!!! :) I’m so, so excited to have the chance to capture their engagement and wedding and can’t WAIT for the next time they’re in front of my camera again!! I already know it’s going to be the best day and am looking forward to celebrating with all their friends and family.
