I may not normally blog a lot of my family work…but when you have the perfect early morning session with great light, gorgeous blooms, and joy-filled moments, you just can’t not share them! I’ve been photographing the Hoyas ever since Charlotte’s newborn session, and I love getting to catch up with them again each time and see how they have all grown.

Laura and Jon are so great with their kiddos! Capturing families playing and exploring together is seriously so much fun (albeit, a definite workout, too!)!! We smelled flowers, climbed on rocks, spun around in circles, searched for bugs, played peek-a-boo, found neat leaves, and managed to get some seriously STUNNING images in the process, too. I always tell families that the less they worry about their kids looking at the camera, the better our outcome will be. It may feel like chaos…but it’s seriously true!

We captured so many sweet images that tell the story of their relationships and personality…and of course, we got plenty of laughs at the camera too thanks to Jon or Laura hopping around behind me! Haha! Enjoy a sneak peek into our morning together!
