Five seconds after walking into their downtown Indianapolis home, I already knew what an amazing session this one would be. And it had nothing to do with the gorgeous lighting!! Rather, it was the warmth and joy that filled Ashley and Doug’s home — almost tangible, as they were so excited to capture their little girl’s first official newborn photos.

There’s something about couples like these two that just makes you want to smile. And, it’s only fitting that their little Violet is just as sweet, too. Watching the three of them together seriously brought tears to my eyes a time or two — I’m not even exaggerating! Doug and Ashley never stopped talking to their little girl: rocking and swaying to a rhythm of their own and telling Violet just how sweet and adored and loved she is. They are just so happy to all be together at last, and it made for an absolutely breathtaking lifestyle session.

As a result, there are *way* too many images in this post…but I just couldn’t help myself. :)
