I truly honestly don’t even know where to begin with this day! Kit and Chris had the most incredible wedding celebration — the flow of the entire day was non-stop joy and relationship and FUN, and I am so thankful to have been a part of it.
I can’t imagine a better venue for their day than Hotel Carmichael. The ease of having everything in one location was such a win….but it somehow still felt like we were party hopping all day long! From pre-ceremony mingling in the hotel lounge, to the ceremony and following cocktail hour spread, to a reception full of toasts and laughter and dancing, to the after-hours jazz club at Feinstein’s, Kit and Chris’ guests were in for one treat after another. Kit referred to her mother as the “wedding planner extraordinaire” in one of our emails, and it couldn’t have been a more accurate title. Every detail was taken care of — it truly was a celebration to remember!
Some of my favorite moments from the day include seeing Kit’s bridesmaids tear up *several* times throughout the day at the joy of seeing their best friend as a BRIDE, the moment when Kit saw her Dad for the first time and ran to him down the hallway, the time I caught Kit and Chris waiting for the elevator looking super cute and snapped a pic (one of my favorite unprompted moments of the day!), the sweet flower girls and ring bearer practicing before the ceremony, the way Kit and Chris cherished every single guest who came to their celebration and were able to take the time to talk with them all, and then of course, the kissing elevator pictures (!!!)….and I’ll NEVER forget when a certain special guest hopped on the stage at Feinstein’s and WOWd the entire audience (and the way her groom watched her with so much love and admiration in his eyes)!!! But you’ll have to scroll down for that one…:)
And of course: the reason for it all…Kit and Chris! These two are so incredibly genuine together, and getting to know them over the last several months has been such a joy. I am so excited to share this peek into their celebration — because they’re finally officially MARRIED!
