So, if you are friends with Amanda & Dave, you are probably a little confused as to why their engagement photos are hitting the blog on this beautiful day in July…Ha!!! In fact, even if you don’t know these two you might recognize them from their snowy March wedding post!! And even if you missed that post too…the fall leaves should probably have given you a little hint that soooomething might be off :P

I confess: it was me :) I took a bit of a blogging break during this past fall of my first year of teaching, so there are quite a few beautiful sessions that were never shared outside of Facebook!! So, in honor of #waybackwednesday (and because who wants to wait until #throwbackthursday?!?!), I have decided to share some of these sessions with you for the next couple of weeks!

First up on the list is Dave and Amanda :) I had SUCH a great time photographing these two — we hadn’t met before their E-session, but Amanda’s sister Lindsey (a close friend of mine) had warned me of Dave’s crazy beard!! Ahh!!! I was all prepared to photograph this bad boy, so you can imagine my surprise when they stepped out of their truck to reveal a clean-shaven Dave!! Haha!! Obviously I pointed out my disappointment, which set off some shared laughter that didn’t stop until the session ended :) Dave and Amanda are such a wonderful couple — the love they have for each other and their confidence in their feelings and value brings such an EASE that really shines through their relationship. Enjoy!! (and sorry for not blogging this sooner! Haha!)I just LOVE the beautiful fall colors — I’m not sure we could have had a better backdrop than these gorgeous leaves!!! Love these last few…the lighting was PERFECT & so so so romantic!!

Gah!!! I mean, does this not have you just SO excited for FALL and BOOTS and PUMPKIN and LEAVES or what?!? Actually never mind I still want summer…but you know what I’m sayin’ :)
