Can you believe a new month is already here?! Life has been a little crazy around here, so I thought I’d share some quick personal and business updates with you today. I always love these posts by my sweet friend Jill (@bellacartaboutique), so here goes nothing!

ONE | I attended the Justin & Mary Lighting Intensive Workshop in Columbus, OH on Monday, and it rocked my world. I’ve never approached light through such a technical process before, but all that has changed my friends! This natural light gal was drawing angles, taking notes, and calculating the impact of the intensity, relative size, direction, contrast, and color of light like there was no tomorrow! I can’t wait to approach future sessions with this knowledge and know it will have a huge impact on the results.

TWO | Our move to Indianapolis has gotten fast-forwarded as Chris & I recently found out we will be able to close and gain possession of our house all in one day! July 7th can’t get here soon enough — I’m not sure my Pinterest board can handle much more home dreaming if not :) It has been so cool to watch everything come together with this transition. Not only did God provide us with full-time jobs and a home, but he also has given me a sense of peace — something I never imagined having a few months ago! I spent months crying and stressing over the thought of leaving, and while it’s still incredibly bittersweet, I just know this is where we are supposed to be.

THREE | Speaking of our move, I’m wrapping up 4 weddings in a row this weekend just in time for moving craziness! When I was scheduling weddings this year, I felt very convinced to keep July and August weekends free. It was very hard to not say YES!! to every opportunity when my little heart was dying to, but boy am I glad I listened. Little did I know I would be starting a new school and moving in those short months! Although, we did make a bit of a bend for a San Francisco wedding June 25th :) Chris and I can’t wait to have a mini-adventure in the midst of our transition!

FOUR | This weekend we are off to celebrate the 4th with some of our closest Cleveland friends and next weekend we will be lodge-ing it up near Lake Erie with our homegroup to say farewell (for now!). We are so thankful for the couples Cleveland has brought into our lives, and I know our time together will be full of great talks, tasty food, and all sorts of shenanigans :) I have been loving this tote for all things outdoors recently and know it will be a life-saver for our weekend getaway!
