Oh, am I so excited to share Abby and Jarrod’s backyard wedding celebration with you this morning!! They may have originally planned their wedding for earlier in the year…but I truly can’t imagine a better celebration than this past weekend’s. It was, quite simply, a perfect day!

Abby is the sweetest, calmest bride ever — she was so confident and calm the whole morning and just couldn’t wait to see her groom! And Jarrod — he was so eager to watch her walk down the aisle and share in the start of their forever! They got ready in the home of a close family friend and set up the backyard for the perfect intimate wedding space. Long dining tables, gorgeous blooms, and candles helped create the romantic and cozy atmosphere. It was as if everyone was a part of the same family, united in celebrating Abby and Jarrod!!

These smaller wedding days in close-knit spaces are quickly becoming some of my favorites. The groomsmen set up the tables in the morning before getting ready, the girls relaxed upstairs while hair and makeup came to them, and we did all their photos right outside the house and around the backyard! The simplicity of their day was beautiful and real, and I am so excited to share a peek into their wedding story with you today. Congratulations, Abby and Jarrod! You’re finally married!!
