What do you get when you combine a wedding planner, photographer, graphic designer, jewelry artist, and CPA?! Why, a flower party, of course! I was so happy when Amy (of Amy Northard, CPA — you’ve seen her gorgeous self on the blog before!) suggested hosting a summer get-together at her house for our monthly small business group, Indy Boss Ladies. Armed with buckets of flowers from Trader Joe’s and macarons, of course, we were ready to begin!

While the five of us are definitely not florists (ha!), I think it’s safe to say we were all super happy with our final arrangements! Plus, it’s been on my bucket list to photograph the creation of a bouquet, so I decided to bring along my camera and document our attempts, too. We set up camp right next to a large window in Amy’s kitchen, and between the stunning greenery, fun supplies, and kraft paper backdrop, it was an absolute dream! Enjoy some of my favorites (and make sure to check out some of the portraits we snagged near the end!!).

Of course, once our creations were complete, we decided to run outside as the sun set for a few portraits! We must have looked HILARIOUS to Amy’s neighbors with our crazy blossoms in the middle of her court! Haha! Love these (and these ladies) so much!!
