It’s always funny to see how things come together over the course of a year. When I began 2015, I never imagined how much I’d come to love one specific aspect of my brand: photographing head shots for other creatives!

It all started when my sweet friend Jillian asked me to update her head shots during our time in NYC this past spring. I am SO glad she trusted me with such a huge part of her brand — not only did I have a blast photographing her, but it sparked a LOVE for a whole new area of photography for me! After our photos, we were able to talk all things small business and grab some coffee, too. And from there, the ideas just grew!

These sessions have quickly become some of my favorite I offer! I love being able to encourage and pour into other creative entrepreneurs — whether it’s other photographers, graphic designers, bloggers, nutritionists, or makers!It can be hard to invest in yourself — trust me, I know! However, I am so thankful that these ladies saw the worth and trusted me with the face of their online presence. So many of us rely on social media for marketing: where a simple profile picture serves as a potential client’s first impression! That’s what I love about offering these sessions — capturing the hearts of these ladies for their small business is such a joy :) It’s a tangible way I can encourage and love on this beautiful community!:)
