Despite the chillier-than-normal May weather we had last weekend, I couldn’t have imagined a better way to kick off the 2017 wedding season! Celebrating with Bekah and Brad was such an honor. They are two of the kindest people who are incredibly hard-working, committed, and thoughtful, too. I love the life they’ve built together, and I know it will only grow richer with time.
And, between the coordinator from Zyntango Farms and Bekah & Brad’s hard work, the floral affair could not have gone off more smoothly. I loved the personal touches and DIY designs incorporated throughout the day; in fact, Bekah hand-lettered the majority of her wedding signage herself! But the best part of the day was not the beautiful details — or even the fact that it didn’t rain one drop!
No, for me, the best part was seeing the joy of their family. Bekah and Brad’s parents, cousins, siblings, friends, and relatives all played a huge part in their day, from heart-felt toasts and readings to Brad’s own father officiating their ceremony. Throughout the day, it was so clear just how excited they all are that Bekah and Brad found each other!! And to me, that speaks volumes of their relationship.
Enjoy a peek into the start of Bekah & Brad’s forever! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Phillips!!
Bekah gifted her bridesmaids the coziest sweat shirts — and bottomless mimosas for the morning of, too! I loved how relaxed all the girls were when we arrived. Such a fun and welcoming bunch!
A first look with her bridesmaids — love their faces so much!! :)
And then it was time to see her groom!
Love, love, love!! These were shot in the very middle of the day with crazy bright sun — but these trees provided some even shade, and I love the way the light hits those branches that frame them in! Ahh!
LOVE!Love these girls so much!!
Such a fun bridal party!! The best of friends — loved this group so much! The ceremony was set up in the barn loft at Zyntango Farm — a perfect refuge from the frigid wind! Oh, and fun fact of the post: Bekah hand-lettered all of her signage herself! Isn’t her work amazing?!
We slipped out of their reception to catch some quick “Just Married” portraits as the sun set — love these minutes away so much! Bekah!!! So, so, so stunning!!
A huge shout-out to the amazing vendor team that made their day possible and to Molly for second shooting with me!
