There’s nothing quite like an Indiana sunrise in the country, so when Kelsey and Jarrod told me to pick a spot I’d been dying to shoot at for their sunrise engagement session, I immediately thought of Trader’s Point Creamery! It was the perfect morning — even better than I could have imagined, and I can’t think of anyone better than these two to have shared it with!

Kelsey and Jarrod met on their very first day at BWU during Freshmen Orientation. By luck of the draw, they were placed in the same orientation group, and their matching Baldwin Wallace Lacrosse shirts (which you’ll see at the end of this post!) immediately gave them a conversation starter. Four years later, Jarrod took her back to the very same spot where it all started to propose, and the rest is history!

Engagement sessions are always so special to me. I share how important they are on the blog all the time, but I truly can’t underestimate the value of spending an hour or two with my couples!! I loved getting to know Kelsey and Jarrod, and I can’t wait for their Lake Wawasee wedding this summer! Enjoy some of my favorites, friends!
