Oh, I don’t even know where to start with this amazing wedding! Scott and Christine put together, hands down, the perfect day to reflect their love for each other, their energy and excitement for life, and their loyalty to their family and friends. From the moment Katie and I walked into The Alexander, we felt welcomed and loved — as if we were part of the family, too! The atmosphere was electric and relaxed at the same time, the sun was shining, the venue was gorgeous, the backdrops in the parking lot across the street were perfectly lit for portraits, and we had an incredibly ideal timeline to work with. In other words, this day was a photographer’s dream!
However, even though every single beautiful detail was taken care of flawlessly, Scott and Christine’s day was so much more than just a photo-op for pretty pictures. Two Air Force Veterans, celebrating their commitment to each other on Veteran’s Day Weekend in a small, intimate ceremony of only close family and friends — let’s just say that from the very first word that came off Scott’s father’s tongue as he officiated their service, there was not a dry eye was in the room. Fast forward to the reception, and between Scott and Christine’s entrance to the theme song from the Titanic on a luggage cart of all things (But seriously. Just wait until you see the photo proof!) and the surprise trivia game they put together for their guests, I don’t think the peels of laughter ever stopped!
But that’s what happens when two families come together so beautifully. Scott is an amazing father, a caring friend, a loyal son, and now what I am sure will be found to be a wonderful husband. And Christine? She is loving, exciting, and spontaneous as she lights up the room with her spunk and personality! The two of them are a powerful duo, and I am so incredibly honored to share their day — this day — with you! I’ll go ahead and warn you now: I’m almost positive this is my longest blog post ever! I just couldn’t NOT share these photos with you!! So sit back, stretch your scrolling fingers, and enjoy!!
Congratulations, Scott and Christine!
