Hey there, friend! Today’s Monday Love is coming a bit late, but I just HAD to share some of my favorite summer images of Ry-guy yet!! Ahh! :)

This last weekend was filled to the brim with all the good stuff. My mother-in-law watched Ryan on Friday so I could run errands, meet with my accountant (Amy Northard is my favorite person in the whole wide world!!!), and stop in to see Baby Graham again, too! :)

Then, I traveled down to Bloomington for my third wedding of the year with Molly on Saturday. It was HOT, but the weather didn’t change a thing… everyone had the best time celebrating with Jenna and Jeremy! Like, for real…I can’t wait to share their full day on the blog this week!! Ahhhh!

Sunday morning was full with Tarzan, church, and a newborn session. However, once I got home from photographing sweet baby Barrett, it was time to celebrate SUMMER! My mom, youngest brother, & next door neighbors came over for a sprinkler party on the front lawn, and it was such a blast! Ryan is slightly obsessed with water and loves bath time, so it was no surprise to see that the sprinkler was a hit. He kept trying to grab the water and loved when my brother would run with him right through the sprinkler!
Eating watermelon with Mima on the porch…these are the days! Oh yeah, and that picture on the right is of Ryan attempting to sit on the rock. What a goof!

As always, here are a few things I’m loving & learning this Monday evening:

• I photographed my first birth in the wee hours of Thursday morning (12:10am, to be precise), and it was the most amazing experience. I’ve always been super queasy around blood & pain…but my adrenaline kicked in, and I didn’t have an issue at all! Getting to witness so many firsts in sweet Graham’s life was such a blessing…Emily & James, I can’t thank you two enough for allowing me to be a part of it!
• Speaking of photographing a birth, I don’t know if it was that or the number of newborns I have coming my way this summer, but Ryan just seems SO BIG to me these days!! His vocabulary grew like crazy this past week, and I feel like every day brings a new skill I’ve never seen before. Life truly is a miracle, friends!!!
• New carpet = best. homeowner. decision. yet. !!!!! We finally had the second floor installed last Wednesday, and it immediately made our whole home cozier & fresher!  No more musty dog smell….thank you, Jesus!!! :)
• Also, my hubs makes a MEAN turkey burger. Grilling out is my favorite thing ever! Thanks, boo! ;)
• Last but not least, business budgets designed on a Noodles takeout bag in the middle of the Fashion Mall food court are 100% legit. Right, Amy?? Haha! I love that my meeting with Amy started in Anthropologie and ended over a bowl of Pad Thai…so thankful for her friendship & finance wisdom, too!

And that’s about it! This week is full of VBS fun at our church — I am leading the game station, which means lots of crazy kiddos & way too much sun! Haha!
