While I love getting to know all of the new couples and families this job brings my way, there is something so special about photographing the lives of those I call friends! Jess and I met at a wedding years ago when I was second-shooting for Jamie Sangar, but we thankfully managed to keep up with each other thanks to social media & the internet. She was one of the first girls I reached out to when we moved back home to Indianapolis, and it has been so great catching back up with each other’s lives since!! Jess is an encourager at heart, incredibly organized and thorough, and one of the sweetest people I know — in other words, she’s going to be one amazing momma!!! :)

But enough about how I know Jess — this post is all about that last sentence above!!! Ahhh!!! My heart did all kinds of jumping jacks when I heard that she and Mike were expecting, not only because I knew how long they had waited for this time, but also because I knew just how lucky their little one will be to call these two Mom and Dad! We had the best time walking around Tuttles Orchards last week for their fall maternity session, and I am so excited to share some of my favorites with you today! Enjoy!
