There’s no better way to start this post than with their first look. Jenna and Jeremy chose to make those few moments even more sacred by sharing personal vows with each other — their own mini ceremony, but every bit as meaningful as the service later on. As they finished reading their prayers for their marriage, I heard Jeremy reach back for Jenna’s hands and say, “You know, people keep asking me all day how I can be so calm. But, marrying you today just feels right. Why would I ever be worried?”.
And that’s just the way it is with these two: confident and peaceful, while at the same time radiant with as much joy as a couple can hold! Just wait until you see Jenna’s smile as she got ready…and Jeremy’s overwhelming delight when he saw his bride for the first time! :) Jenna and Jeremy share a passion for life, a commitment to God, and a desire to love and serve others well. I can’t imagine two better people for each other, and their Indiana University wedding is one I will never forget.
I am so thankful to share a peek into their story with you today. What an honor it was to witness the beginning of their forever!

Love this shot Molly got of Jenna while I was getting Jeremy ready for the first look!
As I mentioned above, Jenna and Jeremy chose to read handwritten vows to each other right after their first look. It may not have been an “official” ceremony, but the promises they spoke were beautiful and from the heart…it was one of the best wedding moments I’ve ever witnessed!
In the photo above, Jeremy had grabbed Jenna’s hands during our transition from candid first look moments to their portraits and said, “You know, people keep asking me all day how I can be so calm. But, marrying you today just feels right. Why would I ever be worried?”. (Or something like that — I was still pretty far away! Haha!). Jenna, you are absolutely stunning!
Haha! Love these ones!!!
Jeremy’s turn….LOL!
After the ceremony, we ran back to Sample Gates for bridal party portraits!
Jenna & her brother…love these so much!
My favorite time of the day…we had ten minutes to grab a few “Just Married” portraits of Jenna & Jeremy before the reception. Absolutely gorgeous!!
Jenna and Jeremy’s reception was in Alumni Hall — a perfect venue for two IU grads! I love the architecture, and you just can’t beat those cream and crimson ceilings, too!
Last but not least, we snuck out for a few more portraits right before the sun set — the perfect way to end the day!!
