Emily and Chris may have both graduated from Indiana University in the same class, but it took another three years of post-college life and a mobile dating app to finally cross paths! And, as she shared in one of our first emails, it was “#loveatfirstswipe”: the rest was history. A first date at Big Lug, family vacations at the lake, and one perfect proposal later, and they are preparing for the rest of their lives!!! :)

And even though Emily and Chris didn’t know each other during their four years at IU, it only made sense to incorporate their favorite campus in the world for a Bloomington engagement session! The leaves were just starting to show off their fall colors (despite the oncoming days of 90+ degree heat…), and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Sample Gates look more beautiful!!!

But the best part of our time together wasn’t the amazing college atmosphere, or even getting into Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall (!!!!) — it was seeing the comfort and ease Emily and Chris share. They fit together so perfectly, and I can’t wait to celebrate their marriage this upcoming summer! Enjoy some of my favorites, friends!

Chris played football for Indiana University, so of course we had to go back to Memorial Stadium, too! What an awesome experience!

And then it was on to Assembly Hall! Walking through the candy striped tunnel honestly gave me goosebumps, and obviously we had to stop by one of the “A”s for their new last name! ;)
